Redgate Cattle Company is seeking an experienced Farm & Ranch Hand to join our family‑owned and oriented cattle operation near Waynoka, Oklahoma. Our work centers on cattle, wheat, and hay production. This is a non‑horse position — all cattle work is done using low‑stress, on‑foot and equipment‑based methods.
We’re looking for someone who brings solid experience, good judgment, and the ability to recognize what needs to be done without constant supervision. This role is hands‑on and practical, with day‑to‑day responsibilities that support a steady, well‑run operation.
You’ll work closely with management, communicate clearly, and help ensure cattle, equipment, and seasonal tasks are handled safely and efficiently.
Valid driver’s license required
Strong cattle‑handling and livestock management experience
Ability to identify and treat sick or injured cattle
Experience with calving, tagging, and monitoring cow‑calf pairs
Ability to spot issues early and address them proactively
Skilled in operating, servicing, and maintaining ranch and farm equipment
Ability to hook/unhook trailers and haul equipment or livestock
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Dependable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
Strong communication and teamwork skills
